Tezga eKasa is an officially approved ESIR: what that means for your business
Back to blog

As of 3 July 2026, Tezga eKasa is an officially approved ESIR - an electronic invoicing system approved for use by the Ministry of Finance - Tax Administration, decision no. 000-092-00-00123/2026-0000. The register was assigned identification number ID 1597, which now appears on every issued receipt.

What ESIR approval actually is

Under Serbia's Fiscalisation Act, a taxpayer may only use a register (ESIR) approved by the Tax Administration. Approval is no formality: the register goes through a technical review (every receipt element is checked - from the QR code and tax labels to advance invoices and CRF registration) and an administrative review, and only then receives a decision and an ID number.

What the Tax Administration verified

  • All receipt types: sale, advance, copy, proforma, training - both sale and refund
  • Accuracy of every receipt element (all 17 checklist items of the approval report)
  • The verification QR code and the link to the fiscalisation management system
  • Advance invoices and closing of the advance chain
  • e-Invoices and registration in the Central Invoice Registry (CRF)

What it means for you in practice

When you ring up a sale in Tezga, the receipt is fiscalised with the Tax Administration in real time - the customer can verify it immediately by scanning the QR code. You don't have to think about regulations: the register has been verified to produce receipts exactly as the law requires. And since the approval is transferable, any taxpayer can legally use Tezga - flat-rate entrepreneur, sole trader or LLC.
